In-House Clinical trial: 
An In-house clinical trial was conducted by Dr. B. Chakraborty in cases of Angina, Coronary Artery Disease and Post MI, at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi on 56 patients. Tonicard was given as an adjuct to cardiac treatment and patients were allowed to continue their allopathic drugs. At the end of study Dr. B. Chakraborty stated:

Another double blind placebo controlled trial in cases of Coronary Artery Disease and Cardiac Neurosis, was conducted by Dr. (Col.) P.K. Ghosh, on 100 patients at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. At the end of study it was found that Tonicard can be given safely in addition to allopathic drugs and its effect is additive. In a significant number of cases it decreases Angina, Fatigue, Palpitation, Breathlessness and gives a feeling of well being and increases effort tolerance.

Composition:

Dosage: 
20-30 drops in 1/4th cup of water, 3 times daily. For acute condition 40 drops.
