It is indicated in blisters and ulcers in mouth, tongue, genitals; bleed easily. Fissures, with pain during stool, as if rectum were torn. All discharges very offensive, especially urine, feces, and perspiration. Persons who have chronic diseases, and take cold easily and disposed to diarrh?a. Excessive physical irritability. Cachexia, due to syphilis, scrofula, intermittent fever with liver involvement and an?mia, etc. Gravel; arthritis. Capillary bleeding after curettage.

This remedy has a specific action on the outlets of the body where the mucous membrane and skin meet with pain as if from splinters, which appears and disappears quickly. It is indicated for blisters and ulcers in mouth, tongue and genitals which bleed easily. The discharges from the body are very offensive, especially urine, feces, and perspiration.

Mind: Mind very irritable, full of hate, vindictive, hopeless and headstrong with fear of death. Over sensitive to noise, pain, touch, jar.

Head: Scalp sensitive and painful with sensation of a band around the head. Headache from pressure with sensation of fullness which is worse from street noises. Excessive falling of hair.

Ears: Difficulty in hearing that gets better by riding in a carriage or train. Very sensitive to noise. Cracking in ears when chewing food.

Eyes: Disturbances in vision with sharp, sticking pains in the eyeballs. Ulceration of cornea with photophobia and constant lachrymation.

Nose: Thick fetid discharges from nose. Green scabs from nose every morning. Running nose with sore and bleeding nostrils and red tip. Stitches, as of a splinter in nose and caries of mastoid bone. Nosebleed, with chest affections. Nasal diphtheria, with watery acrid discharge.

Mouth: Fetid breath with profuse salivation and bleeding of gums. Painful eruptions on the sides of the tongue. Tongue clean, red and wet with deep furrow in the centre. Teeth loose with soft and spongy gums. Ulcers in soft palate, with sharp, splinter-like pains.

Throat: Dryness of throat with pain extending to ears. Constant hawking of mucus. White patches on the throat with pain as if from splinters, on swallowing.

Stomach: Increased appetite with sweetish taste in the mouth. Craving for indigestible things like chalk, earth, etc. Desires fat and salt.

Abdomen: Constipation with great straining but little stool is passed. Rectum feels torn with fissures with tearing pains during stools and violent cutting pains after stools that lasts for hours. Bleeding from bowels, profuse and bright with prolapsed anus. Haemorrhoids bleed easily. Diarrhea with slimy mucus and offensive odor. Irritable and exhausted after stools. Colic relieved by tightening the clothes around abdomen.

Urine: Scanty, dark and offensive strong smelling urine with burning and stinging in the parts. Urine thick, bloody and albuminous.

Male: Sore and burning in glans and beneath the prepuce. Painful ulcers that burn and sting with offensive discharge.

Female: Soreness of parts and ulcers, with brown, flesh-colored, offensive discharge from vagina. Menses early, profuse with pain in back, hips and thighs and stitches through vagina. Pubic hair falls out. Profuse bleeding after child birth.

Respiratory: Loss of voice and hoarseness of voice with dry hacking cough from tickling in the larynx especially during sleep. Sore feeling at the lower end of the sternum. Shortness of breath on climbing upstairs.

Extremities: Offensive foot sweat causing soreness of toes, with sticking pain and chilblains on the toes. Profuse sweating on the palms and hands, with cold, blue nails. Fetid sweats in axillae at night.

Skin: Large, jagged bleeding warts. Ulcers that bleed easily with zigzag, irregular edges and base that looks like raw flesh with splinter like pains. Black pores on face and papules more on the forehead.

Modalities: Worse in the evening and night, cold and also hot weather. Better while riding in a carriage.
