It is used as heart medicine, after rheumatism or influenza, or Bright’s disease, where the muscles of the heart are in stage of fatty degeneration, regulating the pulse and increasing the power of contractions of heart, with increased urinary secretions. Most valuable in cardiac dropsy. Low vitality, with weak heart and slow, weak pulse.

Head:

• Lightheadedness
• Pain at the front of the head starting from the back, goes around temples to eyes.
• Vertigo on getting up from bed, turning head quickly or on lying down.

Mouth:

• Tongue is slimy and dirty yellow. Feels scalded

Chest:

• Pain in chest with palpitations and difficulty breathing.
• Sensation of constriction in the chest with vertigo
• Pulse is fast and irregular
• Feels as if a weight were kept on the chest

Abdomen:

• Sensation of a heavy weight with gnawing hunger.?
• Better when out in the open.

Urine:

• Oily and scanty
