It helps in conditions in which there is itching and coldness of parts with an inclination to lie down. There is a great dread of motion and hence is a good remedy for the same. It is also useful in the ill effects of tobacco smoking such as asthma.

Respiratory: It is indicated in cases of difficulty breathing with a collection of mucus in the respiratory tract. Difficulty in raising and expelling the mucus. The larynx seems constricted, and breathing is impeded. Afraid to go to sleep or lie down due to fear of suffocation.
