It is reported to be useful in nosebleed, haemorrhages from bowels, haemoptysis, etc. A strain in loins or false step brings on a profuse flow of bright blood. Post-partum haemorrhage.Flatulency and diarrhoea.

Clinically this remedy is useful in all types of haemorrhages such as bleeding from the nose, bowels, bloody sputum, uterine haemorrhages after child birth, etc. Tendency to bleed easily where even a small injury bleeds heavily. For chronic tumors and malignancies, with pain and offensive smell. It is also useful in spasmodic hiccoughs, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Female: It is indicated for bearing down sensation in the abdomen and pelvis. Menses very early with increased and prolonged flow, of bright red blood. Drowsiness with disinclination to do any work. Bleeding from uterus triggered by carrying weight or overlifting, during puerperal conditions.
