Kalium muriaticum is a homeopathic medicine that is prepared from Potassium chloride which is an essential component in muscles, nerves, blood, and bones. It is a tissue remedy and it helps in conditions arising from the lack of these elements in the body. It is mainly indicated in catarrhal conditions where the discharges are white in color and in cases of inflammations and swellings.

Helpful in cases of respiratory troubles when the lymphatic system gets involved too. Guiding symptoms include thick white discharges and a white or grey coating at the base of the tongue.

Nose: White phlegm with thick consistency. Thick crusts in the mouth covering it entirely. Nosebleed.

Throat: Tonsils enlarged, impeding breathing. Redness and pain in the throat. Gray patches in the throat with adherent crust formation. Pain extending to the ear.

Stomach: Fatty food disagrees causing indigestion. Vomiting of white colour with water gathering in the mouth. Pain in the stomach. Difficult stools. Hungry but drinking water makes it disappear.

Stool: Thread worms. Tight stool of a light color. Diarrhea after rich food. Bleeding with stool with pain and itching in anus.

Female: Late or suppressed menses with dark blood. Thick white discharge from the vagina, bland in nature. Breast feel soft and tender.

Skin: Eruptions and redness with white thick pus in them. Scale formation on the skin appearing like flour.

Modalities:Worse, by rich food, fats, motion.
