Depending upon the individualization of case, it is also used for other problems by homoeopathic physicians.

The drug is remedial for bodyaches, soreness, spasm in voluntary muscles, uneasiness and prostration. The other general symptoms guiding Phytolacca are glandular swellings and inflammation, bone pains, lowering of weight, abscess in the connective tissue, acute bacterial infection and mainly has a powerful effect on the fibrous and bone tissues.
