The drug is used to treat ulcers in the mouth, excessive sweating from weakness, presence of excessive amounts of gas, bleeding from the nostril and headache. It is reported that the remedy will disinfect the bowels and make the stools free from odor and acts well in conditions with tendency to ulceration.
 
Mouth – It treats sore mouth, conditions caused by severe lack of vitamin C and ulcers in the mouth.
