The drug is characterized by pain of several kinds that are not fixed at one position. It also treats tickling in the throat pit leading to cough, diminishing the excretions of the mucous membranes and promote sensitivity of the membranes of the trachea. It’s action upon the skin is marked where there isimmense itching and enlarged lymphatics.
 
Stomach – As reported, it is used in treating soreness and sensation of hard lump in the stomach, hiccough, nausea, pain in stomach and chest that advances towards the throat, jaundice after consumption of alcohol and inflammation in the stomach.

Respiratory – Sign such as dryness, mucus discharge from the nose and trachea, thin, frothy secretion from the mouth which is tough and stingy, tickling in the throat, dryness, soreness in the region of the left shoulder and sensation of lump in the throat.

Stool – It covers itching of anus, piles, brown and watery diarrhea with cough driving out the bed and also helps in pulmonary tuberculosis.

Skin – Treats intense itching of the skin which worsens in contact with cold air, skin rashes and eruptions on the body.
